Our team of multi-disciplinary professionals provide advisory services to international companies for their incorporation or re-domiciliation in Malta, focusing on all the relevant processes, including all related compliance and regulatory matters.

Among our clients, we are proud to count institutional investors, multinational groups, foreign funds as well as small- and mid-sized private enterprises which we assist in the actual set up of Malta companies or investment schemes. After providing them with the necessary corporate and tax compliance advice, FJVA also assists clients in the management of their companies, offering accountancy and tax compliance advisory services.

The advantages of setting up a Malta company are predominately linked to the corporate structural flexibility under Malta law: in particular flexibility in equity and funding options as well as structuring and rationalisation of international assets. In addition to the above, Malta enjoys a large network of over 75 double taxation agreements worldwide.

The advantages of setting up a Malta company are predominately linked to the corporate structural flexibility under Malta law.

FJVA, through its extensive contacts and its network of local and international associated firms operating in other professional sectors, assists its clients in appointing other professionals to provide them with ancillary services or to join the boards of their respective companies.

FJVA enjoys an excellent long-term working relationship with a number of major banks in Malta and assists clients with their banking needs, managing the relationship between the company and the bank.

Should special approvals and licenses be necessary for the establishment of new activities in Malta, FJVA has a great deal of experience in preparing applications and providing supporting documentation to the MFSA for a wide choice of licensable activities in Malta, including assisting in obtaining banking licences, issuing bonds on the Malta Stock Exchange, the licensing of investment services and the licensing of funds, whether these are collective investment schemes, professional investor funds or alternative investment funds.

We also provide company secretary services to ensure that a company is at all times compliant with statutory obligations and with the articles of association of the company. Similarly, we offer further company management and administration services to Malta- based companies and we especially ensure that their affairs are carried out in full compliance with reporting and discourse requirements.

Through our team of accounting professionals, we provide a broad spectrum of accounting and bookkeeping services, including preparation of management accounts and financial statements, advice on the accounting treatment of transactions, assistance to the appointed auditors during the audit process and consolidation of accounts.

To mark the firm’s 20th anniversary, FJVA launched its Serviced Offices initiative.

The idea behind the Serviced Offices is to hold a client’s hand all the way during relocation to Malta and essentially become an extension of FJVA. With offices located literally on the firm’s premises and nearby, clients will have efficient access to all of the company’s team of legal, corporate, tax and accounting experts.

Crucially, the service allows clients to resume business operations in Malta, with a solid on-the-ground presence, with minimal delay.
The office units occupy a whole floor of the FJVA head office in Qormi, a town located right in the heart of Malta, just a ten-minute drive away from the capital, Valletta. Other offices are located a stone’s throw away.

The unit package includes receptionist services, telecoms services, IT infrastructure, internet connectivity and administrative support. An in-house childcare facility is available to all staff working out of these office units and external company logo visuals can be supplied.

FJVA will continue to boost its reputation of providing tailor-made services to corporate clients, meeting their ever changing requirements with dedicated corporate, accounting and tax advice.

Looking forward, the company intends to dedicate more resources to its other specialisations, especially trusts & foundations, regulatory advisory services and yacht registration; sectors which continue to experience rapid growth in Malta.

FJVA is always looking for new ways to further enhance client relationships while also delivering on its promise that it is a one-stop-shop for all client needs.
